Delete your Reverfit Member account and data
This is a translation for convenience; the Spanish version is the legally binding one.

This page is about the mobile app Reverfit Member (on the stores, «Reverfit Socio»), published by Reverfit (Francisco José Fraile León, info@reverfit.com). It explains how to delete your account and your data, what is deleted, what is kept, and what happens to the data that belongs to your gym. You don’t have to ask for permission or give reasons.
The most important thing
In Reverfit Member there are two different things, and they are deleted in two different ways:
- Your own account, the optional one you create with your email and a password to keep a copy of your things. It belongs to Reverfit and you delete it yourself, right away, from the app or by writing to us.
- Your data as a member of your gym: your member record, your bookings, the plan and the menu your gym gives you, and what you log so your trainer can see it. The controller of that data is your gym, and that’s who you have to ask to delete it.
If you never created your own account, Reverfit has no account of yours: you sign in with your gym’s code and your data belongs to your gym.
Delete your own account from the app, the quickest way
- Open Reverfit Socio.
- Go into Diet or Workout, from your gym’s home screen.
- Go to You, the last tab.
- Tap Your account, inside your data.
- At the very bottom, Delete my account and my data.
- To confirm, you have to type the word DELETE. It’s on purpose: that way nothing is deleted by an accidental tap.
If your phone is in Spanish, the same steps read Dieta or Entreno → Tú → Tu cuenta → Borrar mi cuenta y mis datos, and the word to type is BORRAR.
It’s immediate. There is no waiting period and no “deactivated” account: it is deleted right then and can’t be recovered. You are still a member of your gym: the app keeps working with your code, and what you have on your phone is not touched.
If you can’t get into the app
Write to us at info@reverfit.com from the email you signed up with, asking us to delete your Reverfit Member account. We’ll do it within 30 days at most, and we’ll confirm by email when it’s done. We ask you to write from that email for security: it’s how we know it’s you and not someone trying to delete another person’s account.
What is deleted with your account
- Your account, your email and your password.
- The Diet copy: your profile (weight, height, age, sex, goal and activity level), your food diary, your weigh-ins, your measurements, the foods you created and your saved diets.
- The Workout copy: your plan, your sets, the days you trained (with the heart-rate summary, if you used a strap), your saved plans and your archive.
- Your choice about news emails and the date you agreed to let us keep your health data. Deleting the account is also the way to withdraw that consent.
What is not deleted with the account, and why
- What’s on your phone stays on your phone. To remove it, uninstall the app or use Clear data in your phone’s settings.
- Your data as a member, which belongs to your gym: see the next section.
- The general ranking, if you joined with an alias, is not linked to the account but to your phone. To leave it and delete your row: inside Entreno, Progreso → Salir del ranking (Progress → Leave the ranking).
- Your Pro subscription, if you have one. Deleting the account does not cancel the billing: the subscription is managed by Apple or Google, so you also have to cancel it in your store (App Store or Google Play). The data of that purchase is kept by the store and by RevenueCat, which keeps track of subscriptions, with an identifier and without your name or your email.
- The record of each request to the artificial intelligence (the meal photo): the date, an identifier and what it cost, to keep the service’s accounts. Never the photo, which is not stored. Once the account is deleted, that identifier no longer leads to any account or any email.
- Besides that, we only keep what the law requires us to keep, such as billing data if there is any, for the period set by tax rules. It isn’t health data and it isn’t used for anything else.
The data that belongs to your gym
Your member record, your membership and your payments, your check-ins, your bookings, the plan and the menu your gym gives you, and what you log in Diet and Workout so your trainer can see it are kept by Reverfit on behalf of your gym, which is the controller. That’s why, if you don’t have your own account and you tap «Borrar mi cuenta y mis datos», the app tells you that your data is kept by your gym and doesn’t delete anything.
- To have it deleted, ask your gym: at the front desk or however your gym handles it. Your gym decides and does it from its management dashboard. If you write to us at info@reverfit.com, we pass your request on to your gym.
- What your gym may keep: what the law requires it to keep, such as its invoices and its payments, for the legal periods. Your gym has to tell you about that.
- If your gym deactivates your code, the app can no longer get in and the server stops accepting what it sends.
- To remove your code from this phone: inside Dieta, Tú → Tu cuenta → Cambiar de gimnasio o de código (You → Your account → Change gym or code). The app is no longer linked to your member record and the phone stops getting your gym’s notifications. If you have your own account, you keep it and your copy.
Would you rather take your data with you first?
For your own account, ask us at info@reverfit.com before deleting it and we’ll send it to you in a file. After deletion we can’t: we no longer have it. For the data that belongs to your gym, ask your gym.
